Captain Bennett, born in south Africa, is MCA STCW 95 Yacht Master
Offshore certified and has logged over 120,000 nautical miles
including seven trans-Atlantics as well as South American and Indian
Ocean passages.  Early in his yachting career in the Caribbean
Rowland skippered large multi-hulls.  He went on to build solid
management credentials as operations manager for Sun Yacht Charters
& Sunsail – where he was responsible for a fleet of 30 sailing
			yachts.   A
hands-on, engineering oriented captain, Rowland developed and ran his own yacht
service business in Antigua coordinating repairs, equipment and
supplies for both sail & power yachts.

			With
his broad background in the yachting industry and contacts in the Caribbean,
Europe, the US and elsewhere, Rowland is a valuable resource to yacht
owners and captains alike.  Whether overseeing haul-outs,  sourcing parts
or scheduling repairs, his expertise enables yacht owners to better
enjoy their yacht, and crews to focus on the day to day upkeep
			of a proper yacht.
